I received it for Christmas, and already have used it quite a bit. Performance of the bike seems to be superb. I also bought Mindy Mylar's spinning dvd's, to make it much more fun and challenging. This is my first time spinning so I have absolutely nothing to evaluate it too.But, I'm 1 pleased spinner.
This bike is well built along with a extremely good value. It's almost precisely the same as the Spinner Pro models discovered at health clubs. This provides you a great aerobic workout in the event you vary your pace and function partly in the saddle after which partly out of the saddle. Make sure you keep the pedals tightened to the crank arms because they've a tendency to loosen which can cause a stripping of the crank arm threads. Very pleased with this bike!
I've been spinning at the gym for years and because of function I wasn't able to get to the gym as often and truly missed becoming in a position to spin. I chose this bike simply because it seemed to be most like the models at the fitness center that I was familiar with, plus it has the 43 pound fly-wheel which is what most fitness center models have. I received the bike in about a week. It took about 20 minutes to get the bike set up. Assembly was easy. Due to the weight of the bike probably the most challenging component was screwing on the front and back platforms but I was able to do this by myself effortlessly. The directions provided within the box weren't really for the "velo" model, but I figured it out as there really is not much to do. All parts and tools are supplied. I opted to use my own spd pedals rather than the pedals supplied using the bike.
